The
rhizomes of the plant differ from species to species varying in color, weight,
form and size. On average, however, they weigh about 450 grams.
They are sent free of dirt and properly disinfected according to set standards.
Cover the
upper part, or tip, of the rhizome with a disposable cup or something similar
to protect it to diminish the risk of spoiling. 
Keep the soil
humid and free of weeds for at least the first 5 months. After this time,
the plant will begin to create a humid micro-ecosystem at the
root level to protect it during dry periods.
